A Pioneer German Luthern cemetery. It is tradition that the adults be buried on the East side and the children on the West. That is why there is such a separation between the graves. Many of these families went on to join the Luthern churches in Pana and other members of their families are buried elsewhere. These stones are typical for german cemeteries - very large and ornate. But oh a brighter home

is now thine own.
