Big Creek Cemetery, in Big Creek Township, Located East of Chanute, Kansas, on K-39 to Leanna Road, then North one mile, then East 1 block, the cemetery is on South side of the road. In early times, this cemetery was referred to as the Chappel Cemetery or Chappel Burying Ground
