Kansas Veterans Cemetery,
Fort Riley, Riley County, Kansas

Kansas Veterans Cemetery, located in Riley County, Kansas, at Fort Riley, Kansas. This is a new cemetery that started in March 2009. Fort Riley gave 90 acres from the SE training area for this new cemetery located on the east side of Fort Riley and east of Camp Funston at Fort Riley. The address is 5181 Wildcat Creek Road, Manhattan, Kansas 66503, Telephone: (785) 717-3050, in Riley County, Kansas.

Note: The actual Fort Riley Army installation is located on land in both Riley County and Geary County, Kansas. Also at the fort is the Fort Riley Post Cemetery, located in Geary County, Kansas, which is the old cemetery with graves dating back to the 1850's and Kansas Territory days. The old cemetery was full in 2007 except for certain burials, so land was given for the new one, but the two cemeteries are located in different areas of the fort. The old cemetery is towards Junction City, Kansas, and the new cemetery is towards Manhattan, Kansas.

Both cemeteries are National Cemeteries and listed at the government website.
