Sherman Lee Logan
Mr. Sherman Lee Logan of 1050 Bane Street, Lot 17, South Boston, died Thursday, February 5, 2009, in Halifax County at the age of 50. Mr. Logan was born in Halifax County on April 13, 1958 to Ms. Peggy Logan and the late Mr. Felix Fallen and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Halifax. He was an employee of Lasco Bathware.
Mr. Sherman Lee Logan is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bernita Lee of South Boston, Ms. Toco-Ra Logan of Scottsburg, and Ms. Tamara Brown of Halifax; one son, Mr. Sherman Logan of Yanceyville; two grandchildren; his mother, Ms. Peggy Logan of Halifax; two sisters, Mrs. Glendora White of Alton and Mrs. Brenda Jones of Scottsburg; one brother, Mr. Willie Logan of Pittsburgh; one son-in-law, Mr. Jerry Lee of South Boston; two aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Logan will be held Tuesday, February 10, at 11 a.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry and Bernita Lee, 1246 Union Grove Road, South Boston. Funeral arrangements are by Jeffress Funeral Home, 2000 North Main Street, South Boston.
